quick drawstring project

followed great video on you tube and made this in less than an hour
however as I sewed right side to wrong side fabrics, needed another hour to redo it!


also managed to attach a closure to bucket bag I posted yesterday, used iron on velcro  trimmed to cut corners off, this hopefully prevents the velcro pulling off at the edges when the bag is used . Took it on a little outing this evening to try it out.

    Very cute! I've been making drawstring bags with t-shirts this year and I love them. If soiled, just pop it in the wash. I've been using mine all week on vacation, and my kids have been using theirs to go to camp this week.
